About Us
Sheepwreck Farm
We moved to our farm, located on the far West side of Elgin IL, in 1988 with a dream of living out in the country. Although we're still pretty rural, we are being surrounded by growing subdivisions. Slowly over the years our menagerie of critters has grown to include Jacob's Sheep, chickens, dogs, cats and one spoiled rotten house piggie, Spam.
Our Sheep
In 2003 we started with our first small herd of Jacob's Sheep. Jacob's are a smaller sheep raised for their fiber.
Our Chickens
We have about 25 hens that we raise for eggs. We sell their eggs here at the farm - local pickup only.
Our Dogs
We have a couple of German Shepherds that we love. In November 2022 we lost a three year old German Shepherd to kidney failure. He took a large piece of our heart with him when he went and when I started making Goat Milk Dog Shampoo I knew they just had to be named Bubba's Bubbles.
